Not all suncreens are created equal. There are essentially two types - the physical UV-ray blockage of a zinc oxide and titanium dioxide and the chemical UV-blockage that most traditional sunscreens utilize. Our own sunscreen contains both and that includes our own Alphasomes C-8 and the highly effective chemical UVA filter, Paradol 1789 which has a light texture and is gentle to the skin. When the two are used in tandem, as we do, it's practically like walking around with a sun umbrella protecting your skin. Our physical blockers are micronized and that means that they no longer go on thick and while like they did in the days of yore, in fact, they blend in easily moisturizing as well as protecting. Use every single day and re-apply as often as needed, especially if you go into the water or are in the direct sun for any length of time. |
